Derek Lee Nixon
has been in the business for over 16 years as an actor and a producer. Nixon is co-founder and Executive with Aristar Entertainment, a personal management/production company based out of Burbank, CA. A San Antonio native, he has starred in movies and television shows such as Mary-Kate and Ashley's "When In Rome", WB's short-lived series "Do-Over", with guest spots on "Boston Public" and "The Andy Dick Show".

He wrote/produced and starred in "Hallettsville" (Gary Busey), produced and starred in  "The Lights" (Joe Estevez), produced and starred in "Outrage" (Michael Madsen, Natasha Lyonne and Michael Berryman) and stars in Universal's 2010 hit teen comedy "The Jerk Theory" (Tom Arnold, Jenna Dewan, Josh Henderson and Lauren Storm). He recently wrapped "After School Special" starring LaTeace Towns-Cuellar and himself as the title character.  Nixon is currently in pre-production on a film titled "Now and Forever" (Josh Henderson, Lindsey Haun, and Jesse Janzen). He is producing the film at Ranch Studios in Kyle, Texas, with director Andrew Pozza and casting director Andrew Aguilar.

Andrew Aguilar also a San Antonio native, has been an industry professional for over 21 years as an actor and a casting director.  Aguilar is a graduate from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Aguilar was recently seen in the television series "Rules of Engagement" on CBS.  He is currently signed on as a series regular on the Comedy Sitcom "It's Only Me" from the creators of Nickelodeon's "The Brother's Garcia". He was featured in "American Wedding", "Never Been Kissed", "Days of Our Lives", "Grounded for Life", and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

 Under Aguilar's casting, he serves as the principal contract casting director for True Fiction Filmz (Not Another, Not Another Movie, Blood, Ella at Five, Shrinking Charlotte and Alive and Well), Aguilar cast the pilot for "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" currently on the CW.  He has been an agent, manager, and motivational speaker. Aguilar has helped guide many actors/artists to successful careers.  Aguilar was honored with his name placed on a monument with Biograph Film Company for resurrecting the first movie ever made in Hollywood "In Old California".

Aguilar is very passionate in helping actors with all of the knowledge that he has gained over the years because he believes in making dreams a reality.

This intensive workshop is not intended for those who are not willing to give 200%.  Please do not sign up or commit, if you are not entirely committed to your craft.

Please come in as if you were going to an audition, or an interview.  We expect you to be punctual, properly groomed and well rested.  We DO NOT accept tardiness.
